Although we have the opportunity to re-open our shop on the 15th June we have taken the decision to remain closed for the time being.

We have been planning for several weeks about how and if we could/should re-open. This has included following the government guidelines for “Working safely during COVID-19 in shops and branches”. In interpreting these guidelines we have already identified issues over how we can successfully measure and fit shoes whilst maintaining acceptable social distance.

However concerns raised over the weekend about the possible rate of infection in the North West of England, followed by the decision in Bolton by many primary schools to remain closed, has helped us reach the decision that now is not the best time for us to re-open.

We will be reviewing this decision on a regular basis and hope that we will be opening soon. At this moment in time we do expect to be open well before the normal demand for Back to School shoes.

However, when we do re-open please expect many changes to the internal appearance of the shop and how we operate. The most immediately apparent will be the introduction of in store appointments only. We will issue more information about this and other relevant customer information prior to opening.

In the meantime we are still selling online and are able to answer any questions either by phone, email or Facebook messaging.
