Froddo
Bright bold colours dominate the new SS14 collection from Froddo. As well as colourful sandals we have a whole new range of seasonal shoes and, for the first time at Little Wanderers, Froddo school shoes, all made with the style, comfort and attention to detail that Froddo are renowned for.

Lelli Kelly
This spring there are brand new Lelli Kelly styles available. The fabulous Lelli Kelly Jasmine baseball style boot is adorned in beads and rose patterns and, as well as having laces, has a side zip for ease in getting the boots on and off.

Lelli Kelly maintains its core appeal and designs with new sparkly glitter pink shoes and white and pink rose shoes added to the range.

Bobux
There are seasonal sporty styles for boys and girls and cute mary jane shoes for the girls as well. This spring also sees an increase in the size range Bobux sandals go to, with boys’ sandals now available up to size EU29 (UK11).

Bobux footwear is created to provide little feet with protection from harsh surfaces, but never hinders their freedom to grow. Bobux shoes and sandals are both lightweight and extremely flexible and make walking easier for little legs.

Ricosta
The new Ricosta range demonstrates their ongoing ability to match great performing shoes with fantastic designs and colours. Ricosta Niddy is a similar built shoe to the successful Nippy style that has dominated Ricosta’s boy’s range for the last few seasons. Strong and durable, yet lightweight and comfortable, the Niddy in camouflage will be one of the must have shoes from the boy’s range. For the girls the Lilla style in Barbie pink is a quality shoe with flower and butterfly motif and sits alongside the similar style Mie, which is in silver.

Other highlights this season include stylish boys and girls closed toe sandals Freddy available from Superfit and Primigi’s girls’ fuchsia shoes Adelfa and Alagia, both coming with the combination of Italian style and practical durability. Hush Puppies still provide the must have cruising shoe with girls lilac Gia and boys Tad in pale blue. Hush Puppies Pre-Walkers are available in E, F and G fittings due to Hush Puppies unique “fit left, fit right” fitting system.

Hi-Tec
This summer we will be stocking a range of sandals from sport’s specialists Hi-Tec The Hi-Tec GT Strap JR, for both boys and girls, starts in a size 10 and runs to the top of our size range. There is also the Hi-Tec Shore Jr closed toe-sandal for boys, also starting in size 10.

The Children’s Foot Health Register
Little Wanderers has received further professional recognition, and been approved membership of The Children’s Foot Health Register. All members are committed to the highest standard of shoe fitting for young, growing feet. Members also guarantee to provide comprehensive training for staff, as well as a full selection of footwear in full and half sizes, as well as various width fittings.

Keep Feet Fit
The Society of Shoe Fitters, of which we are also members, is again promoting National Shoe Fitting Week, under the banner “Keep Feet Fit”. This years campaign begins on April 12th 2014, to raise national awareness of the importance of well-fitting footwear and the vital service independent shoe retailers, like Little Wanderers, provide to the public.

The Society’s Secretary, Laura West, explains
that shops like Little Wanderers “are often the only ones offering a good, professional individual “fitting” service. Young feet are amongst the most vulnerable and parents think that they are doing the right thing having feet measured and then try to buy cheaper than the shop that measured them, what they don’t realise is that all gauges are calibrated differently and the size the gauge says is merely a starting point to a qualified or experienced shoe fitter. A gauge won’t tell you if a child has a high or low ankle bone, high or low instep the start of a bunion or flat feet…the list is long and is taken into account by a professional.”
