Whether kids vegan trainers, children’s barefoot vegan shoes, or Pepino vegan sandals, the Ricosta vegan range complements the growing list of vegan brands from Little Wanderers. Going forward it is our intention that sustainable vegan children's shoes from Ricosta will be available in every season’s collection. Ricosta children’s vegan footwear is made completely of animal-free, high-quality material but maintains the quality and fit that parents have come to rely on.

To enable parents and children to practice a vegan lifestyle, it makes sense that animal-free footwear styles are made available in the same quality as all other ranges. Ricosta children’s shoes maintain comfort with the best possible fit, while maintain a fresh and healthy foot climate. Even though the manufacture of vegan technology materials can be occasionally more complicated than leather production, these vegan technical fabrics can often be recycled more easily which, in turn, means that they can be processed into new materials.

To enable the Ricosta footwear to be able to be labelled as "vegan" the Ricosta vegan kids range were examined for any animal origin by intricate testing procedures by the PFI Institute in Pirmasens, Germany and certified with the PFI seal for vegan shoes.

All components in the children’s shoe making procedure are accounted for such as the dyes, the shoe adhesive, and all the way to the upper material. All models from the Ricosta Pepino vegan shoe range are totally free of animal products and ingredients.

Ricosta children’s vegan shoes are still as robust and durable as the remaining Ricosta range. As technology has developed a large range of hard-wearing technical and high-quality materials are now available. They can still offer the same breathable qualities as leather and are free from any potential harmful substances.

To maintain customer choice, Ricosta will still maintain leather footwear in its range, as the production process still means that it is a sustainable product. All Ricosta leather footwear use materials that are by-products of the meat industry. This helps to maintain the sustainable process of not wasting resources. Ricosta Pepino leather is also subject to the most stringent requirements in terms of animal welfare and origin.

A further benefit of Ricosta children’s vegan shoes is that they are machine washable. All Ricosta vegan styles, whether kids shoes, trainers or sandals are washable at 30 degrees.
